Who is Tarahum?

The National Committee for the Care of Prisoners, Released Persons and Their Families (Tarahum) is a national body dedicated to the care and empowerment of inmates, released persons and their families. It works to coordinate efforts and align roles among the relevant entities, helping to strengthen family and social stability and to support positive reintegration into society.
The National Committee (Tarahum) operates across the Kingdom through its General Secretariat and its branches, in partnership with government, non-profit and private-sector entities, to support pathways of care and empowerment for the beneficiary groups and to direct efforts towards more sustainable solutions that safeguard dignity and take account of need.
